Born Pretty Store Water Decal C 066 Review

(Born Pretty Store Water Decal C 066 was sent for review)
Today I have some more water decals from the Born Pretty Store to share.  These are the Nail Art Water Decals Transfer Stickers Red Series Rose Pattern Sticker in C 066.  It includes lots of lovely roses in red, purple, light and dark pink, as well as a few leaves.
I started this manicure with a base coat, and then painted on one coat of N.Y.C. Pink Champagne.
When that was dry, I used reinforcement labels and Salon Express Nail Art Paint in Snow White to create a French tip.
I cut out red roses from the water decal sheet, and then peeled off the plastic covering.
One by one, I placed the roses into the water and, after a few seconds, I slid the backing off and placed them onto my nails.  You can check out my water decal how to here.  When this was dry I added a top coat to help prolong my manicure.
I love this manicure.  It has a dainty look to it.  The Born Pretty Store water decals are perfect to add beautiful, intricate looking roses very simply.  I was intimidated by water decals, but now that I have tried them a few times myself, I am really impressed and would definitely use them again.  You can find the water decals I used in this manicure here.  The Born Pretty Store has more water decals and lots of other great products on their website.  To get 10% off your order, you can use my discount code SNDX31.

Born Pretty Store Water Decal Y026 Review and How To

(Born Pretty Store Water Decal Y026 was sent for review)
I have some water decals from the Born Pretty Store to share today.  I have always admired water decals.  They add so much to a manicure.  I was intimidated to use them; however after trying them for myself I realize they are actually easy to use.
I chose to review the Classical Flower Vine Pattern Nail Art Water Decals Transfers Sticker in Y026 which had a lot of pretty floral designs.  The back of the package has instructions for applying these decals.  I started by painting my nails with two coats of China Glaze Pool Party over a dry base coat.  When this was completely dry I was ready to apply my water decals.

To apply the water decals, I used a bowl with water, scissors, and tweezers.
  • I cut out the designs I wanted then peeled off the plastic covering.
  • I then placed the decal into the water and let it sit for about 10-20 seconds.
  • Next I moistened the nail I planned on placing the decal on by simply dipping another finger into the water and patting my decal nail.
  • I then took the decal out of the water and it slipped off the paper backing.
  • I used tweezers to help me place the decal on my nail.
  • When this was completely dry I added a top coat.
I also tried adding a water decal to my nail by peeling off the plastic covering, placing the decal face down on my nail, and then holding a wet paper towel over it for a few seconds.  This technique also worked on getting the water decal onto my nails.  I found it slightly easier to apply the water decals using the bowl of water rather than a wet paper towel.
Overall I am really impressed with these water decals.  They are much easier to use then I first thought.  I love the intricate look they added to my manicure.  These water decals lasted a long time.  They lasted longer than my nail polish.  The Born Pretty Store has a whole range of water decals to choose from.  If you like the ones I used today you can find them here.  The Born Pretty Store offers free shipping worldwide and you can use my discount code SNDX31 to get 10% off your order.
