Schwarzkopf Professional OSiS+ Gelastic

I received a bottle of OSiS+ Gelastic in my Influenster Spring Fever VoxBox.  This is an ultra strong flex gel with a 4/5 hold.  Benefits are listed as: all day ultra strong style control, dries to a firm and strong finish, and has lasting definition.  Ingredients include resins that are normally found in finishing sprays that provide a lasting, strong, and moldable hold.   I don’t use gel on my hair too often, but the men in my house do and they really liked the quality of the gel.  On the Influenster Tumblr page they had some hair style suggestions.  One of them was a sleek ponytail look.  I decided that was how I would style my hair. 

 

  

Here are some pictures of my fiancé’s hair.  These pictures were taken after a 10 hour work day.  His hair looked just as good after work as it did when he first went in.    

 

 

Instead of putting the Gelastic on a comb then combing it through my hair like the suggestion, I combed my hair into a ponytail like I normally would.  After my hair was up I put a small amount of Gelastic on my fingers and ran them gently over my hair.  Normally I would spray my hair with hairspray to keep my ponytail in place, but I think the Gelastic worked better.  The day I wore my hair like this I went to a softball game and it was a little windy.  My hair of course blew around in the wind, but all the strands stayed up in my ponytail.          

 

I really like the hold OSiS+ Gelastic provides.  I am going to have to try more hairstyles with this product and not just leave the gel to the men.  OSiS+ Gelastic can be found at the Schwarzkopf Professional website and at Ulta stores.  OSiS+ Gelastic sells for $18.00.

NYC New York Color Applelicious Glossy Lip Balm

My Influenster Spring Fever VoxBox included an Applelicious lip balm from NYC New York Color.  I received Big Apple Red.  Like the name suggests this lip balm is tinted red.  The red tint is not overpowering yet it is noticeable.  I love the look this lip balm provides.  In the middle of the lip balm there is a cute apple shaped core which is made up of shea butter, jojoba oil, vitamin E, and avocado oil.  I love that this core is included because I can really feel the moisture and smoothness it provides my lips.  The lip balm also has a nice apple smell to it.    

 

Of all the products included in my Spring Fever VoxBox, I was most excited to try the NYC New York Color Applelicious Glossy Lip Balm and I was not disappointed.  You get a hint of color and moisture in a cute and good smelling lip balm.  There are 10 shades and each one costs $2.99.

Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure

My Influenster Spring Fever VoxBox came with a set of Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure.  My set was called Sexy Fresh.  I was excited to try these out.  Who wouldn’t want a great looking manicure in minutes? 

 

The Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure came with everything I needed: 24 self-adhesive nails, a prep pad, and a cute little nail file.  I found the nails that most closely fit on my natural nails and lined them up thumb to pinky.  (What I didn’t realize until day two of wearing these nails is that they are actually numbered.  The numbers are on the back side of the nail at the tip.  They are small and white so they are not very noticeable, but they are there and they are helpful).  After I lined up the nails, I cleaned my natural nails with the prep pad.  Then, one by one with the thumbs last, I peeled the backs of the nails and applied them to my natural nails.  

 

The whole process was quick and easy.  The hardest part was fitting my nails, but even that was not too hard.  These nails remind me of when I used to use press-on nails as a kid—just more grown up with lots more styles.  Sexy Fresh is great.  It has pink with orange on some nails and blue with purple on others.  All the nails have flashes of white that really give the manicure a unified look.  Some of the nails remind me of tie dye and others remind me of peacock feathers.

Secret Outlast Clear Gel Antiperspirant/Deodorant

My Influenster Spring Fever VoxBox included a Secret Outlast Clear Gel Antiperspirant/Deodorant in Completely Clean.  Although probably not well known, it’s no secret I use Secret antiperspirant.  I have tried and love the Secret Outlast Invisible Solid and was excited to try the Clear Gel as well. 

 

The first thing I noticed, aside from it being a gel, was the great scent.  I usually reach for unscented but this scent is one I really enjoyed.  The packaging states to use 2-3 clicks as needed.  I used three clicks and stayed sweat free, smelling good, and white mark free all day.  With the warm weather we have been having lately these are definitely things to look for in an antiperspirant/deodorant.    

Overall I am pleased with the Secret Outlast Clear Gel Antiperspirant/Deodorant.  I really love how long this antiperspirant/deodorant lasts.  I will continue to buy Secret because I know it works and it works well.  Secret Outlast Clear Gel Antiperspirant/Deodorant retails for $4.59 and comes in three different scents as well as unscented.  Here is a fun ‘Deo Dance’ video I recommend watching.

Tastykake Kandy Bar Kakes

There was a Tastykake Kandy Bar Kake included in the Influenster Spring Fever VoxBox.  This was a pleasant surprise since I had just purchased another TastyKake product that I really enjoyed.  The Tastykake Kandy Bar Kake I received was the S’mores flavored Kake.  Let me start by saying this Kake was delicious!  I love S’mores flavored anything and this is no exception.  The S’mores Tastykake Kandy Bar Kake is a graham cracker flavored cake filled with a marshmallow cream filling covered in Hershey’s chocolate and sprinkled with graham cracker crumbs on top.

Today I have a look at Influenster’s Spring Fever VoxBox.  I was sent this VoxBox complimentary from Influenster to test the products inside.  Included in the box was:
