Inspire Me Monday: Angry Birds- Green Pig

Today’s inspiration is another one from the Angry Birds game—the green pig.

I started off with L.A. Colors base coat-top coat.  I then applied two coats of Sinful Colors’ Happy Ending.   

I stamped the pig using image plate KD4 and Wet N Wild’s Black Crème polish.  

I finished off with N.Y.C.’s Grand Central Station.  

I like this shade of green for the pig.  I thought about filling in his hat with yellow, but decided I might get the yellow all over.  I think this is a cute stamp.  I really like the details on this pig.

Inspire Me Monday: Angry Birds- Yellow Bird

Today I have the Yellow Bird from Angry Birds.  I started off by painting my nails with Sinful Colors Basecoat.  I then painted on two coats of Avon’s Sunshine nail polish.  Sunshine is great for this manicure because it is a nice bright yellow polish.

When this was dry, I stamped the Angry Bird using Wet N Wild’s Black Crème polish and image plate KD4.  

I topped it off with N.Y.C.’s Grand Central Station. 

Again, this is a fun manicure to wear. This is probably a more noticeable manicure because of the bright yellow polish. People did notice the yellow and liked the Angry Bird (which I was quick to point out). I am excited to try out more designs from the image plate. Inspire Me Monday: Angry Birds- Red Bird

Kelly from DevilishPolish has come up with Inspire Me Monday where you create a manicure based on something that inspires you.  You then post your manicure, along with a picture of your inspiration, on Mondays.  My inspiration today is the Red Angry Bird.

I bought a cute Angry Birds stamping plate on Ebay.  This plate has images of six birds, one pig, and one slingshot.  It is marked KD4.  I was so excited to try this plate out!  The first bird I tried was the Red Bird, of course. 

I started off with Sinful Colors Basecoat.  I then applied two coats of Love My Nails Seductive Red.  Seductive Red is a true red color that I thought would be perfect for the Red Angry Bird. 

When my nails dried, I stamped on the Red Angry Bird using image plate KD4 and Wet N Wild’s Black Crème nail polish.  I finished off with N.Y.C.’s Grand Central Station. 

This manicure was fun to wear.  I am happy I bought this plate.  I really enjoy playing Angry Birds, so of course I was excited to be able to stamp some Angry Birds fun onto my nails!  Be sure to check out DevilishPolish where you can see some great manicures and join in on the Inspire Me Monday fun.
