Born Pretty Store Water Decal C 066 Review

(Born Pretty Store Water Decal C 066 was sent for review)
Today I have some more water decals from the Born Pretty Store to share.  These are the Nail Art Water Decals Transfer Stickers Red Series Rose Pattern Sticker in C 066.  It includes lots of lovely roses in red, purple, light and dark pink, as well as a few leaves.
I started this manicure with a base coat, and then painted on one coat of N.Y.C. Pink Champagne.
When that was dry, I used reinforcement labels and Salon Express Nail Art Paint in Snow White to create a French tip.
I cut out red roses from the water decal sheet, and then peeled off the plastic covering.
One by one, I placed the roses into the water and, after a few seconds, I slid the backing off and placed them onto my nails.  You can check out my water decal how to here.  When this was dry I added a top coat to help prolong my manicure.
I love this manicure.  It has a dainty look to it.  The Born Pretty Store water decals are perfect to add beautiful, intricate looking roses very simply.  I was intimidated by water decals, but now that I have tried them a few times myself, I am really impressed and would definitely use them again.  You can find the water decals I used in this manicure here.  The Born Pretty Store has more water decals and lots of other great products on their website.  To get 10% off your order, you can use my discount code SNDX31.

Born Pretty Holo Polish 3

Today I have a gorgeous polish to show.  It is Born Pretty Holo Polish number 3.  I won this polish from the Born Pretty Store’s blog.  They were having a giveaway and I was one of the lucky winners.  I got to choose one of the new Born Pretty Holographic Polishes and I chose number 3, a pretty pink.  I painted my nails with L.A. Colors base coat-top coat then applied two thin coats of Born Pretty Holo Polish number 3.  This holo polish was so smooth and very easy to work with.  Number 3 is a medium pink with amazing holo in it.  I could not stop looking at the polish in the bottle or on my nails.
I decided to add some hearts to this beautiful polish.  I used my black Salon Express Nail Art Paint and an Essence Stampy Design plate.  I then sealed everything in with N.Y.C.’s Grand Central Station.
I love the way my nails came out.  I have wanted to use the heart design on this plate for a long time now and the Born Pretty Holo Polish number 3 was a perfect base for it.  I got very nice compliments on this lovely polish.  I am so happy I won this polish.  The Born Pretty Store has 12 of these holographic polishes to choose from.  You can find them here.  Right now they are on sale for $4.59- $5.59 depending on which color you choose (they are normally $12.88 each).  The Born Pretty Store has also generously offered readers of my blog a 10% off coupon code, NNDK31, to use on their website.  If you pick up any of these gorgeous holo polishes let me know.

French Hearts

Today I have a design I wanted to try for a long time—French hearts.  I started with a basecoat then painted my nails with two coats of Love My Nails in French Pink.
I then added white tips to my nails using Wet N Wild’s French White Crème.
I stamped my ring fingers with the hearts and swirls design using Salon Express Nail Art Paint in Snow White and Salon Express stamping plate SE18.
I finished off with N.Y.C.’s Grand Central Station.
I loved wearing this manicure.  I am happy with the way it came out and so glad I finally tried out this design.  I want to wear more manicures similar to this one soon.

Prom Night

Pure Ice Strapless is one of my favorite blue nail polishes.  This is a deep blue polish packed with sparkles.  It is just gorgeous.  It is funny the color is called strapless because after I painted my nails with it for the first time I kept thinking it would make a beautiful evening gown.  It was not until later that I saw the name.  I painted my nails with three coats of Strapless.
I then decided I would try out my new Salon Express Nail Art Stamping Kit.  I picked the moon and stars design on plate SE21.  I stamped the design using Pure Ice Silver Mercedes.
When this was dry I added a top coat of N.Y.C.’s Grand Central Station.
I absolutely love the way this came out!  I think the blue and silver complement each other very well.  I am also very pleased with the Salon Express Nail Art Stamping Kit!  You pay about $10 for 5 image plates, a double sided nail stamper, a scraper (I like to use an old credit/gift card), and an image plate holder.
